Review Policy

Authors, Agents, and Publishers: Interested in Getting Your Book Reviewed?

Self-published authors, traditionally published authors, agents, publishers, and publicists of books are all welcome to send in a copy of your book for review to Trisha at The Wordy Wench. Here's how:

~Does your book qualify as YA or teen? If it is a dystopian, fantasy, romance, chick lit, mystery, or paranormal teen or YA novel, I'll review it.

~Send me an email at skyhigh62@hotmail.com. In the body of your email, send me a short commercial hook. Do not attach your manuscript. I will send you an email if I'd like to review your book.

~Please be professional, respectful, and kind when sending your email. Follow the guidelines I've provided above--for example, if you have an adventure teen novel, don't send it, because I have not listed it in the genres I review. Another example of remaining professional is avoiding sending me anything longer than a short commercial hook.

~Your book must be published, or you must have landed a publishing deal. If you do not have a contract for your book, do not send it to me. I only want books that publishers have chosen.

~Please be patient. I typically will get back to you within two days or so, but if I don't, please avoid sending a follow-up email.
